What Harbor Meditation Studio collects

When you book or contact Harbor Meditation Studio, it may collect your contact details, appointment and booking history, messages you send, payment details needed to complete a purchase, and limited device or browser information. It asks only for what it needs to serve you — not more.

How your information is used

Your information is used to book and manage appointments, take payment, respond to your messages, send booking notices you asked for, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. It is not used to create surprises for you.

When information is shared

Harbor Meditation Studio does not sell your personal information. It shares information only with the service providers that help it operate — such as booking software, payment processing, and messaging — and only the information those providers need to do their work. It may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people from fraud or harm.

Service providers

Service providers receive only the data needed to perform their task, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; card details are handled by the payment processor, not stored on this site.

International transfers

The service providers that operate this booking site — including hosting, payment processing, and messaging — may process your information in the United States. When information is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, those transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 3, processor-to-sub-processor, 2021/914) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Text message (SMS) consent

When you provide a mobile number on a booking form, Harbor Meditation Studio sends transactional texts — booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and check-in instructions — as the sender of those messages. Marketing or promotional texts are sent only if you separately opt in with a second checkbox.

Your number

Your phone number is stored only when you consent to texts, and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Browser push notifications

Browser push is optional and needs your permission. Transactional push for bookings, reminders, and requested updates is separate from marketing push such as promotions and last-minute openings — you can keep transactional push on while turning marketing push off, and change either choice in My Account. Each change to your choice is recorded.

Security & how long information is kept

Harbor Meditation Studio uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. Information is kept only as long as needed for your bookings, an active account, or legal requirements, and is then removed or anonymized.

Your choices & rights

You may review or update your account details, manage your contact preferences, ask for a copy of your information, or ask to correct or delete it where that is permitted. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal data.

Account deletion grace window. When you delete your account from My Account, it is marked for 30 days. During that window you can restore the account by following the link in the confirmation email. After the grace window the deletion is permanent.

Linked sign-in providers. If your account is linked to a third-party sign-in such as Google, deleting your account also stops future access with that provider where supported, so the sign-in connection is no longer kept active.
